A woodland/wildflower garden in a 3 acre country plot - Area C

Existing shed is to be kept and placed over an area of hardstanding made from reclaimed surfaces from patio area. This area is hidden from the house by the trellis work and tall evergreen grasses and bamboos.
This is an area of rough cut decking. The pale colour will mix well with the gravel and soft sweeps of grass in the background. A trellis sits at the back making this area more private and it also cuts out the view to the shed and the practical hardstanding behind the garage.
Timber structure provides shade and security as well as bringing the garden further into the house decking on the same level as French windows. This platform will then step down and across to larger decked area in the sun. From all the decked platforms one can view out over the garden.
The existing pond is to be replaced or renovated with the pond now being raised, due to sunken gravel garden. A raised bed sits behind, containing a mix of subtle wetland planting. This will include Iris, Bergenias, Ferns, Reeds, Lily and Pachysandra terminalis.
A simple wood edged gravel pathway connects all areas of the top garden.
