Contemporary style, featuring angular paving and flowing lines

Winding crazy paved path provides the main access through the garden. This moves through the informal planting and under the large elder.

Naturalistic watercourse runs through the garden providing the opportunity to create areas of aquatic and bog planting to attract wildlife.

Natural stone slabs create the second split level as well as providing another informal pathway which steps over a small waterfall.

A more naturalistic seating area which is left to go wild. The planting around this area is to create an enclosure with spiky plants such as pyracantha climbing up the wall for security.
Stepping stones provide access over the small pond and water continues to run between them as it makes its way to the bottom patio area.

Low areas of ground cover planting create small glades within the taller planting.

Enlarged random regular York stone paved area provides an entertainment space in front of the house.

Circular lawn provides an open space which links to the patio area.

Natural water feature spills over the rustic brick retaining wall into the patio area and also provides informal steps up to the winding path.

Sketch showing the natural seating area which is enclosed with planting to provide screening. This overlooks the small pool which runs down to the bottom patio.
