The
lower pool is set flush with the surface of the lower metal
decking and consists of a 3m x 3m black and silver flecked fibre
glass tray 150mm deep. The pool is filled with metal spheres
of varying sizes with the water level appearing almost flush
with the lower decking. The feature extends beneath the decking
and the front corner of the upper pool by 500mm, creating a
floating edge. All pump work and piping required to circulate
the water is placed beneath the timber decking. |

The
soft textured planting includes a wealth of herbaceous perennials
and grasses interspersed with sun loving shrubs having texrturev
and colour throughout the year. This area of planting consists
of a raised bed with an oatmeal coloured retaining wall. (Height
300mm). |

Three
floating stepping stones offer a link and circulation between
the drive way and the garden. These are constructed as stainless
steel trays with inserts of a suitable plant species such as
thyme or camomile. |

The
upper pool is built from a blockwork construction to a height
of 150mm tiled on all visible surfaces with with black slate
tiles. This water pool has a depth of 100mm with approximately
5-10mm of water flowing over the tiled surface and feeding into
the lower pool. |

The
monoliths are constructed from Brathay Blue Black slate. They
vary in height between 1.2. and 2.5m with a 270mm flat face.

The
driveway is constructed from natural stone chippings. |

high entrance gates. These are built from solid timber with
metal fixtures and fittings. |
